1) Crushing strength test by UTM  in lab

                                                        

          Standard result are 

                 *  10.5  N/mm2  for 1st class bricks

              *    7.5  N/mm2  for 2nd class bricks

       

              *      3.5  N/mm2  for  3rd class bricks

         

         Stand. Size of brick- 19 x 9 x 9

2) Water absorption test

   Not more than 20% Of water by Wt. If immersed in water for 24 hours for 1st class bricks

   

  Not more than 22%  Of water by Wt                                                        for 2nd class brick

  Not more than 24% of   water by Wt                                                        for  3rd class bricks
