Before discussing the importance of orientation of building let's understand what orientation is? orientation gives us information about the direction and position with respect to any point and space. In other words, we can say that it analyzes the relative position.   In the building, orientation plays an important role during the functional design. It tells us placing of building in such a way that it gets the maximum advantages of the natural source for maximum possible comfort.
